Latest News for Donators

Friday, April 8, 2016

The latest update has been sent out to donators and it states:-
As you are aware, we have managed to place a vast amount of forage with Farmers in need of assistance due to the severe flooding issues. There is still a need for forage, but it is a far cry from the critical situation of past weeks and months. With this in mind, FCN are in the process of re-assessing the affected areas.
We are now asking that any Farmers who have been assessed and given the "go ahead" to ask for forage, contact us in order that we may put them in touch with donators and they can arrange collection and haulage at their own cost.
It therefore makes sense to advise, that due to the distance and cost of haulage that would occur, that the donations from below Worcester to Cambridge etc, are now not required. We thank all of you who have offered help from below these areas, we were fortunate enough to have had so many offers of help from all over the country, which means so much to us and the Farming community.
On behalf of us all at Forage Aid, we thank every single one of you for your forage donations, offers of help, support and patience. We have managed to help so many Farmers who have been affected by the floods and none of it would have been possible without your generosity.
